3d Spatial Panning Rack for Ableton

This here is a 3d spatial panning rack - You can change coordinates in the XYZ planes, which will then adjust how an object is panned based on the azimuth and elevation angles relative to your head, and the euclidean distance away. note: this works best on mono sounds, and may require some volume normalization. How effective it may work depends entirely on the sounds using - it won't be able to place something 'above' you if it has no content above 8khz!!! Some sounds simply just work better than others due to the frequency content they have

The rack should be straightforward to download - just download the project file below and open it up in Ableton. It should contain both the giant effect rack, and the max msp patch connected with it. Then just save the rack into your user library.

Remember, you can exchange the reverb in the rack (in the final audio effect, the doppler shift rack, the second chain contains a reverb you can swap out for your own)
