AbleLOM 2 is a Max for Live device that allows you to explore the Live Object Model (LOM) directly within Ableton Live in a graphical and intuitive environment. The device lists various Live object classes with their parent-child relationships, properties, and functions, and displays the call path for the live.path object inside Max for Live.

Exclusive "Observe" Mode – Dynamically updates the values of:
- Children, child elements, properties, and functions in the main results window.
- If you change the tempo, track name, color, or any other parameter in Live, the changes will be reflected instantly.
- By default, this function is off, with three refresh speeds available:
- Slow
- Mid
- Fast
Direct Browsing & Dropdown Navigation
- Clickable text elements for quick navigation.
- A dropdown menu to select child elements easily.
Text Editor for Long Texts
- Clicking on a text displays it in a dedicated text window for better readability.
- Useful for copying/pasting long text snippets.
Quick Access to LOM Documentation
Ctrl / Cmd + Clickon text in the main window opens the official LOM documentation in a separate browser at the closest relevant section.
Enhanced Help & Warnings
- A red help tab simplifies navigation and provides warnings when needed.
"Canonical Parent" Navigation
- Allows backward navigation through the hierarchy.
- Appears in green for easy identification.
Improved ID & Name Display
- Object names are now displayed relative to their IDs (if available).
